The Attorneys
There are three outstanding attorneys that make up the law firm of
Valencia, Ippolito & Bowman. All three of them have the necessary
skills and qualifications to provide sound criminal defense in all
cases they take on. Patrick Valencia, Ricardo Ippolito, and Cameron
Bowman provide exception defense for the criminal offenses of sex
crimes, domestic violence, drug crimes, DUI/DWI, white collar crimes,
theft, assault, and felonies.
Mr. Patrick S. Valencia has 25
years of legal experience and has the necessary skills to take on the
toughest cases. He obtained his bachelor's and law degrees from Santa
Clara University in California and belongs to the Santa Clara County
Bar Association.
Ricardo Ippolito has over 15
years of experience as an attorney. He also has an accounting degree
and business practices knowledge, which allow him an advantage when it
comes to defending white-collar crime. He earned his bachelor's and law
degrees in California and is a member of several professional
organizations, some of which include the Better Business Bureau and
California Attorneys for Criminal Justice.
Mr. Cameron Bowman has almost
20 years of experience and he has been involved in over 100 trials. He
has the advantage of being a former Santa Clara County Prosecutor, so
he knows both sides of the law. This becomes very useful when it comes
time for trials and he can anticipate what the prosecution's strategy
will be. In 1998, he was named Santa Clara's Trial Attorney of the Year.
Firm History
Valencia, Ippolito & Bowman have been successful in winning many
tough cases in the San Jose area. One example of which is the case of
P. Gonzales, who was arrested for a Three Strikes Burglary Case and
faced a 25 years to life sentence. Prior to his trial, the judge
offered Gonzales 14 years in State Prison, warning him he could receive
a life sentence if he lost at trial.
The law firm of Valencia, Ippolito & Bowman researched the facts of
the case and found that Gonzales had never meant to commit the crime,
due to a long history of drug abuse and head injuries. He went to court
and was offered a misdemeanor during the first trial. He was sentenced
to credit for time served and got to go home. The excellent defense of
Valencia, Ippolito & Bowman made all of this
possible.
